EOC has provided facade engineering services on the new Fifth Avenue flagship store for H&M in New York’s Midtown.

The main entrance facade is four storeys tall and uses glass fins to maximise the building’s transparency. EOC worked closely with the lighting engineer to develop a light box system in a rain screen wall for the opaque cladding elements.

Particular attention is paid to the glass specification and surface treatments to attain a unified appearance between the opaque and transparent glazed systems.
