We've expanded - Our new Los Angeles office is now open
19th January 2021
World leading Structural and Facade Engineer Eckersley O’Callaghan is pleased to announce the opening of its new studio in Los Angeles, California.
The new office will strengthen the company’s presence in the US joining offices in San Francisco and New York, and globally in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Australia. Lisa Rammig, current Director in the San Francisco office, will split her time between the two to head up the new Los Angeles office.
The new Los Angeles office will build and expand on the capabilities of the successful San Francisco office, focusing on offering facade consultancy services for a wide range of project types. This includes structurally challenging residential and cultural projects, commercial buildings, high-performance facades with a focus on energy and shading analysis. It will also focus on continuing the R&D work related to materials and technology in conjunction with the San Francisco team.
Director Lisa Rammig said: “We opened our office in San Francisco five years ago and from there it has grown from strength to strength. With our client base extending across California’s west coast, it was the right time to expand and build on our offering.
“This new office will allow us to serve our clients more effectively and strengthen our position in the market. Serving the local market in LA as well as supporting the design community here with their projects locally and globally is a great opportunity for us. We’ll continue to service our clients in Silicon Valley from San Francisco as well as from our new base in LA.”
Eckersley O’Callaghan Founding Director James O’Callaghan said: “Despite the global pandemic, our global reputation as being leaders in our field has continued to help the business grow. The new Los Angeles office will work in partnership with the San Francisco office and with our other offices around the world to offer our clients unparalleled engineering services which are innovative, sustainable, practical and cost efficient.”
