How do you create a spectacular transparent swimming pool 10 floors in the air?<\/p>\n

It only takes one look at Sky Pool<\/a><\/strong> to recognise that it is a remarkable feat of design and engineering. Ten floors up, spanning a gap of 15m between two new residential buildings, Sky Pool<\/a> is the world’s first fully transparent swimming pool. And when you are designing a world first, you can expect to encounter some significant challenges.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Lee Mallett<\/a><\/strong>, our design team which includes Brian Eckersley<\/a><\/strong> of Eckersley O’Callaghan, and Hal Currey of HAL Architects<\/a><\/strong>, discussed the process of realising such an ambitious architectural intent.
