Large, thin ribbed panels reduced joints, embodied carbon, and site disruption, providing high durability and aligning the new facades seamlessly with historic elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Earlier this month, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eocengineers.com\/about-us\/our-team\/damian-rogan\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.eocengineers.com\/about-us\/our-team\/damian-rogan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Damian Rogan<\/a><\/strong> participated in an AT webinar on Setting New Standards in Sustainable Facade Design, where he discussed the innovative facade of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eocengineers.com\/projects\/beijing-sub-central-library\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.eocengineers.com\/projects\/beijing-sub-central-library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Beijing City Library<\/a><\/strong>. Comprised of 60% sawtooth, folded, laminated glass, the facade achieves 30% lower embodied carbon compared to a typical steel structure.
