Working alongside OB Architecture<\/strong><\/a>, our team provided structural design services from concept through to construction, ensuring the successful delivery of this highly bespoke refurbishment. The extension integrates seamlessly with the garden through corner sliding doors, while inside the main house, we supported structural alterations to create a modern open-plan layout as well as modifications to the existing roof structure to create feature vaulted areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A challenge lay in the client\u2019s ambition to convert the existing hipped roof into a vaulted space. Our engineers modelled the roof structure in detail to assess its performance, designing cranked steel members and advising on a careful installation sequence to achieve the vaulted form without compromising structural integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
