During his 20 years of professional practice, Phil also worked at Dewhurst Macfarlane &amp; Partners alongside James O\u2019Callaghan in both London &amp; New York, as well as at other facade engineering firms in New York.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text16px\">His continuing commitment to the architectural community through creative and considered structural engineering solutions has led to a broad experience in innovative systems such as structural glass, tensile structures, membranes, inflatables and long-span roofs, as well as more typical building frames and facades utilizing traditional materials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text16px\">Phil employs a first principles approach, which has provided a specialist understanding of high end analytical applications, including staged erection analysis, non-linear dynamic seismic and blast engineering, stadium and bridge design, supplemented with form-finding and 3D modelling.
