Museum at the Gateway Arch
|
The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, was completed in 1967 as a monument to the westward expansion of the United States. Designed by architect
Eero Saarinen, and standing 630 feet tall, it’s one of the world’s most recognisable structures. As part of a major redevelopment of the arch and surrounding landscape,

we provided engineering services for the new curved glass facade entrance to the arch’s subterranean museum. Three-hundred feet long, it uses custom blast-engineered structural glass panels supported on a pre-tensioned cantilever frame.
