Volunteering Day with Romney Marsh Countryside Partnership

Supporting the work of the Romney Marsh Countryside Partnership (RMCP), Marialena Toliopoulou, Jasmine Wong, Marie-Sophie Chen and Sarah Hoogenboom spent last Friday planting 400 trees across Romney Marsh and Dungeness.
As the first volunteer group to get involved, they also helped RMCP create a working plan to achieve their goal of planting 1,450 trees for the local landscape and wildlife.
Our commitment to volunteering gives employees the tools to support the local community in meaningful ways, and in this instance, RMPC’s important work in promoting sustainable ‘green’ tourism and facilitating local community landscape enhancement.
