Nerea joined Eckersley O’Callaghan in February 2025 as a Graduate Computational Designer and was promoted to her current role in April 2026. She supports project teams in the parametric modelling of complex systems, contributing to the development of efficient, geometry‑driven design solutions. Her expertise spans geometry and programming, with a particular interest in computational methods that enhance design integration and performance.
Before joining EOC, Nerea completed her Master’s degree in Parametric Design at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Her academic work strengthened her technical foundation in algorithmic modelling and digital workflows. Nerea is co‑author of Integrative Design and Engineering of Timber Folded Plate Structures of Free‑Form Vaulted Systems, which received the Tsuboi Award from the IASS in 2025.
