Last week, Philip Wilson, Benjamin Féquant and Pierre Bourdier represented Eckersley O’Callaghan at the Forum International Bois Construction hosted at the Grand Palais in Paris.

During the conference, Benjamin and Pierre joined architects Stanton Williams and MTA – Marcillon Thuilier Architectes in a panel discussion on the Hôtel-Dieu Metropolitan Library in Clermont-Ferrand project. Harnessing perspectives from their structural and facades expertise, Benjamin and Pierre discussed the careful balance of contemporary and traditional building techniques used for this transformation of a historic monument into a new cultural equipment for the city of Clermont-Ferrand.

In addition, Philip presented with Mischa Witzmann, Architect at KARAWITZ, discussing their contribution to the initiative to re-build in Mayotte after Cyclone Chido in December 2024 where local bamboo resources and an innovative connection system for bamboo structures was used.
