An Ambitious Facade Refurbishment, 76 Southbank

30 October 2025

76 Southbank, the 1980s Brutalist landmark building by renowned architect Denys Lasdun, underwent a quiet transformation and expansion, creating a total of 53,000m² of modern office space.

Situated in a prominent site on London’s Southbank, the five-storey building features a complex layering of floor plates which created 4,100m² of terraces across different levels. These terraces were clad in precast concrete upstand beams, giving the building its iconic appearance.

Join Florence Li at the Schueco Showroom on Tuesday 4th November where she will discuss leading the ambitious facade refurbishment at 76 Southbank with Stefan Rust from AHMM, Dane Architectural Systems and Schüco UK Limited.

The event at 5.30pm located at Schueco London, 153 Great Portland Street, W1W 6QW. Please register with Marta Lipka: [email protected]
