Structural transformation of Brioni’s flagship store in Paris, featuring key insertions to enhance circulation routes within the store.

We collaborated with luxury Italian menswear couture house Brioni to transform the interior of their 600 square-metre double-level flagship store on Paris’s Rue Saint-Honoré.

The architectural concept introduced a route starting from the ground floor entrance that leads the customer to the basement. The ‘giant stair’ was one of the key features emphasizing the circulation route through the new space.

The new store layout required the creation of large openings into the existing ground floor for the installation of a new stair and a lift. New steelwork has been designed to re-support the concrete slab where it was cut, and new composite slabs were used to infill previous stair and lift openings.

Due to the location of the site, we designed all new steelwork to be easily transportable and assembled on site – including the floor structure and the new stairs.
