Large-scale mixed-use development, featuring five towers and several complementary facade designs.

Eckersley O’Callaghan is providing facade engineering services for a new large-scale mixed-use development in Vauxhall. The scheme encompasses five towers and several complementary facade designs.

Vauxhall Square North and Vauxhall Square South are two 52-storey towers, accommodating 454 luxury residential units, 138 hotel rooms, and ground-level retail units. Both towers have a unitised aluminium curtain wall, with aluminium fins running vertically and horizontally.

Vauxhall Square East is an 11-storey office building. The facade features a unitised curtain wall, with external precast concrete lintels and brick piers. Through our involvement, we have been able to rationalise a complex cladding design so that it is fully unitised, more cost-effective and allows for quicker installation.

Vauxhall Square West is a nine-storey office building, again with a unitised curtain wall but integrated with double-height precast concrete piers.

The fifth building, Wendle Court, is a 25-storey affordable housing block with a brick-faced precast concrete facade and punched windows.
