We are pleased to announce the release of Version 2.0 of EOC ECO2

18 May 2022

The R&D team at Eckersley O’Callaghan has been busy working on V2.0, the carbon data plug-in for Autodesk Revit, which allows users to measure all the embodied carbon within the structural framing (or any volumetric element!). The new and improved version has loads of new features and improvements.

If you would like to download the software script, please email us at [email protected] and one of the engineers from our R&D team will be in touch.

New features and improvements include:

  • Colour coded sortable materials allocation
  • The ability to sort materials and volumes by name
  • A new ‘Pop-up’ materials library with the ability to ‘Add custom materials’ and GWP values for novel materials
  • Saved materials can be imported into future models and vice versa they can be pushed back onto your own database.

Best of all this version can be adopted by any designer or discipline working in Revit, including architects, industrial designers ad infinitum! allowing them to generate their own library of GWP values for their own supply chain.

The update also includes new coefficients and GWP values from the The Institution of Structural Engineers 2nd edition “How to calculate embodied carbon”
