Andrea Zani presenting at the Facade Tectonics World Congress
29 September 2026
On 1st October, Andrea Zani, Associate Director of our San Francisco office, will be at the Facade Tectonics 2026 World Congress.
Written in collaboration with Douraya Kessaria, Senior Sustainability Engineer, and Sarah Hoogenboom, Sustainability Engineer, Andrea will present the paper ‘Embodied Carbon in Curtain Walls: Bridging the Gap: Design-Stage Versus As-Built Facade Embodied Carbon’. Exploring why embodied carbon estimates for facades often shift between design stage and construction, Andrea will use a real-life project case study and share practical guidance for making early-stage assessments more accurate.
If you’re attending the conference, be sure to say hi to Andrea and attend the session!
