Rob Fuse at the IASS Annual Symposium 2026

On 15th September, Rob Fuse, Associate from our London office, will be at the IASS-IWSS-2026 Annual Symposium in Turin, Italy.
Rob will present our research paper ‘Funicular Lithics’ on 3D-printed concrete (3DCP) and Marble funicular shells, a project inspired by Pier Luigi Nervi’s landmark concrete shells across Turin. Created in collaboration with ZHA and Vertico, the paper demonstrates a unified funicular logic that combines traditional stone craft with 3D concrete printing to create ultra-thin, compression-only structures that upcycle waste and eliminate internal steel.
