The Henderson’s Art Garden Scenic Walkway and Glass Elevator Opens

Situated in Hong Kong’s Central Business District, our structural, glass and facade engineering expertise has realised the Art Garden’s Scenic Walkway and Glass Elevator at The Henderson.
Having led the structural and facade engineering to realise Cloud 39, the Elevated Lobby internal glass wall, Art Garden glass elevator and Pedestrian Walkway, it’s rewarding to see the Art Staircase now complete and open for the public.
Connecting the ground floor to the existing footbridge structures, the external feature staircase is helical and free spanning, composed by a complex full width box section.
A collaboration between our London and Hong Kong offices, we designed the glass facade, glass balustrade and stainless-steel cladding. In addition, the lift structure cantilevers from the foundations and provides top support to the staircase.
