Last week, Mitsu Edwards and Alessandro Baldini travelled from our offices in Paris and Milan to Cannes for MIPIM 2026.
During the week, Alessandro participated in a forum hosted by Il Quotidiano Immobiliare at the MIPIM TV Studio exploring ‘Sustainability in Real Estate: Strategic Evolution or Paradigm Shift?’ with Daniele Guglielmino, CEO of GET. Mitsu attended sessions in the French and UK pavilions sharing thoughts on regeneration and renewal in cities, as well as enjoying Ion’s round-table deep dive into the reasons why we build.
Representing our Paris office, Mitsu also attended the MIPIM Awards where La Fondation won ‘Best Mixed-Use Project’ for its design quality, sustainability credentials and ESG-alignment. Situated on rue Legendre in Paris, La Fondation is a former multi-storey car park from the 1960s that underwent an extensive refurbishment to create this 12,000 m² mixed-use development. Supporting PCA-STREAM Architects, we provided facade engineering expertise to deliver a high-performance building envelope predominantly constructed in timber.
